We have made several changes to help you manage your Hotel Ads feeds. It’s now easier to build, test, and update your price feeds with the new Price Configuration tool. Partners with non-double occupancy rates can now display them using the NUM-ADULTS POS parameter. Both of these updates are available in your Hotel Ads Center. New in our product

3/4 occupancy selector in hotel search

Users can now search for hotel rooms for three and four occupants, in addition to one and two occupants in all devices. Partners with non-double occupancy inventory should work with their technical account managers to create proper deep-link and apply for whitelisting in order to display such rates. See NUM-ADULTS POS parameter for more details below.

Price markers in hotel search

Hotel search and comparison just got easier. Users globally can now view room rates directly on the map, regardless of the device they use. The price displayed reflects the current lowest available rate.

Hotel prices in date-picking calendar for mobile

The new date-picking calendar for mobile shows nightly prices for individual hotels and allows users to quickly understand rate trends over an extended period of time, regardless of the check-in and check-out dates they select.

Hotel price graph in mobile

The new price graph allows users to compare booking options and visualize the best price per night for the next 60 days. Users who search for individual hotels can view weekly and monthly term price trends via dynamic graphs on their mobile devices.

New resources in your Hotel Ads Center

Automatic subscription to Smart Alerts and improved price accuracy alerts

As soon as July 25, you will automatically receive Smart Alerts via email if your performance metrics significantly change, e.g. price accuracy score, clicks, conversions, and impressions. Additionally, we've updated the price accuracy alerts to notify you of any change in your price accuracy score, as opposed to only when your score drops below a certain threshold. You can opt out of Smart Alerts for your account in Hotel Ads Center. Learn more about Smart Alerts.

Price Configuration tool

If you’re using Pull or Hint feed delivery methods, you can use the Price Configuration tool to easily integrate, index, test, and update price feeds. Learn more about the Price Configuration tool.

NUM-ADULTS POS parameter

You can now use the NUM-ADULTS parameter in your Points of Sale file to display non-double occupancy rates. You can also use the existing Points of Sale Editor to define this parameter within your dynamic POS URLs. Learn more about Building dynamic POS URLs.
